We have a website now!

You read that right, folks; We're Still Learning now has its very own website located at: wslshow.com.

It's still in its infancy and we're still doing some work on it, but it's coming together nicely.

The York News-Times was gracious enough to offer to host the site and I've accepted. The one thing that I want to stress is that WSL is not a product or part of the News-Times; this is very much my own project. The News-Times is simply providing me some server space without charging an arm and a leg for it.

So, if you want to see the latest episode (posted the first promo for it this morning), head on over to wslshow.com.

Upcoming filming locations

Wanted to pass along some information on where I'll be doing some filming over the next few days in case anyone wanted to show up and answer questions for the "random resident answers" portion of the episodes.

Friday morning I'll be at the Java Hut from 7:15 until about 8:15 or so.

Saturday I'll be at the York County Fair around 9:00 AM until some time in the afternoon.

So, if you happen to see me during those times, stop on by, answer a few questions and you could appear on a future episode of "We're Still Learning".

New logo!

In case you may not have noticed, the show has a brand new logo courtesy of Shane Rozzell, who does some wonderful graphics work.

Some good news

After meeting with the Director of the Chamber of Commerce, he mentioned that he could put in a small blurb in the Chamber Chat email that he sends out to the local business leaders. I accepted his kind offer and that was sent out today.

Within an hour, I received an email asking me to speak at a luncheon next Monday for the Optimist Club. They asked if I could talk about the show, why I'm doing it, how it came about, what the goals are, etc.

What an incredible honor and thrill it is for me to be asked to speak about this show before it's even hit the internet. There seems to be a lot of interest and positive encouragement from people that I've talked to about this so far, so I'm really looking forward to seeing what people think once the show starts airing.

I've also received official support and endorsement from the Chamber of Commerce, so that's a wonderful bonus.

With the episodes laid out and plans in place, I should start filming within the next week.

At this time, pre-production is completed for the first ten episodes and filming is set to begin next week.
